Mountain Music Festival
Aug TBD . Guitars, banjos, fiddles, and mandolins--if it’s got strings you’re bound to hear it at the 8th annual Mountain Music Festival, an event that celebrates the local and regional talent around Ferry County.
On Friday, August 2, the festival begins at 6:00 p.m. with a porch jam. Come Saturday morning, the festival opens at 10:00 a.m. at the K-Diamon-K Ranch. Stage performances will continue until 9:00 p.m. The festival features local and regional musicians singing and playing a variety of mountain music—bluegrass, folk, country, and more. There will be some open mike time as well.
Event organizers expect to have food vendors at the festival, but concert goers are free to bring their own picnic lunch and refreshments. There is limited tent shade, so assure your comfort by bringing your own lawn chair, parasol or hat, and suntan lotion. For more information about the festival or scholarships visit the event's official site.
