Winterfest 2009

A weekend of Winterfest fun returns to Republic, Washington!

January 5 - 11.This year Winterfest is a full seven days long, and its theme is "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!" Activities and events will include a torchlight parade, snow sculpting, out house races, ice skating, ice carving, dog sledding, cross county skiing, a community bon fire, and much more. Friday brings a winter dance at the K-Diamond-K Ranch. Sunday brings dog sledding at the park in Republic. Sunday morning begins with a cross-country ski clinic, and snowshoeing adventures. Most activities are free, so shake off your winter blahs, write the dates on your calendar, invite your friends to town, and plan on participating in all the snowy events.
